Using your iPad pictures app

Posted by admin on February 21, 2012 in News |

Using the Photo app on your iPad, which incidentally is just named photos, can basically lie down there in your dock while it contains all the images that you either take with your iPad or that you upload from your computer. It quickly becomes a lot of images, and in most cases, some people have hundreds of pictures on their iPad which is why you quickly need to split them up into separate categories so you can keep track of them. Let’s look at how it works: You can have your pet as the first set of pictures which go in a certain folder named with a name of your choice and when you open the picture, it fills the entire screen. What you can do after that is amazing. For example, you can zoom in by pinching your fingers back and forth or you can touch the image one time which will allow you to rotate it. If you, for example, take the picture at stake you can rotate it so it matches the information you want it to. You can also press this little arrow up in the corner and then you get the option to either send the photo by email or you can put it into a contact if you have a contact where you think that picture should be the image that pops up when they call. You can also use it as wallpaper on your iPad so that you have it in the background behind your apps. You can also choose to print it or copy it out. You can also say that you want to email more pictures at once, so you press this little arrow here that shows up and when you have done so, you can just “dab” in the pictures that you want to email. From there, you can choose however many you want to send and that comes as a small blue checkmark by them all. When you have selected the pictures you want to e-mail, you want to press up there for E-mail and so makes it ready to write an email where you can write whoever the receiver is and then it puts itself on the various pictures. Now you can just send it to the destination of your choice. If you decide to leave the page there, you can also break the pictures up in different ways. When you are inside the tab photos section, you will see all the images at once but you can also choose to split them by album. For example, if one chooses to say that you have an album about private pictures and then another album about hobby pictures and then an album about images at work, you will know what pictures are where. Or it can also be events like Christmas, summer holidays, etc. No matter what the picture is, there is surely a folder that you can put it in.

Using the iPads as textbooks

Posted by admin on February 21, 2012 in News |

Now Apple will have a roof in all of the students – they have launched an aggressive campaign for digital books on the iPad. It will be much more fun to be a student as the iPad is brilliant for textbooks even some kindergartens have purchased iPads in a big way for the children. Apple has proven itself with an evolved series of ebooks for the iPad which can interact with students. So, these ebooks react depending on the students’ action – for example, students with textbook turning images of a DNA strand can view it from different angles, etc. There are already plenty of relevant apps that can be used for teaching material which many schools have already found out. Apple has also launched iBooks Author, where you can make textbooks – ie. Teachers can use this program to create educational materials instead of all the paper copies being used as one large extraction like most teachers do today. User friendliness is very similar to the interface on the iPad and is therefore extremely user friendly. Best of all, iBooks Author is free so it’s just about getting started. What a start school kids have in today’s society. Using an iPad for learning purposes is what an education should be all about. Our children are our future and Apple has realized that by coming out with apps and technological equipment that make learning fun and easier than it ever has been. There are not many companies out there that can say their device could take the place of books but Apple can. For years, the iPhone or iPad has been used as a gaming or internet surfing tool but it seems that learning has now become a major issue for most parents and most businesses. Having your child learn from a tool like this is not only smart but it can save your educational system plenty of money in the long run. Not having to buy books every few years could save the education system billions of dollars worldwide and all they would have to do is buy iPads for their students. They could possibly get a discount from Apple if they buy a certain amount. Children around the world want to learn but most just do not have the capability or the willpower to do so. By allowing the iPad to become a virtual textbook for a child, you are giving them a chance to learn several different things at once and old style teaching should be thrown out the window. Of course, there are some things that you cannot teach a child but by using this new technology you are ensuring the possibilities are endless. Apple is doing a great job at making sure every child can work their way to educational stardom and it is only by providing great technology and allowing it to become a part of the school system.

What is guerilla marketing when it comes to an iPhone app

Posted by admin on January 30, 2012 in News |

Guerrilla marketing on the web is precisely what had to happen when it came to people or companies making some real money selling iPhone apps. The fact that so many people see the product and want access to the coveted top 25 is self-explanatory. It’s not just about putting up the product and perhaps getting a recommendation from Apple. Being under development and staying busy by preparing marketing through social networking is a very strong key you have to keep in mind. You should have a blog where you can post updates to the app and possibly have a twitter-account and a facebook page as well. Right now you may have no real fans and this could be because you have not really begun to market. But it’s when people go in after about three months of marketing and can see that you are gaining ground for your app simply because you marketed it first. It is about having a flow of all these things.
Marketing is also about the involvement of future users in the development of the game. You should be able to show screenshots of games to users in threads on different forums. By spending a third of your time talking to people (or having someone do it for you) is another important step in making the most out of your app. For example, discuss with people what the game should be called or what the animal in the game should be called. Explain what the certain aspects can and cannot do and become friends with some people that give you feedback. The idea is to create a certain amount of hype around it. Bloggers are starting to mention stuff more and more and put screenshots up because of this tactic. You can write to them with new updates and then they will put it out there for the world to see. It is very personal and takes a long time, but it’s like a snowball that is starting to roll. If you do not have a budget, you can just throw money at marketing as others do, however if there is a budget you will not be able to do this. In fact, it would not burn through anyway because the platform itself is hard to buy for marketers. Sales are driven by the top 25-list and those who buy something would not typically do so because they see an advertisement. But maybe they will buy if they read an interview about the app coming to iPhone. When you do you get the snowball to roll, you may get in the top 25. This is crucial and you should be able to do it all without having to spend a penny on marketing, but probability suggests that the sleeves should be rolled up for success. There is in this market, as in most other markets, differences in those big sellers and those who lie and rally at the bottom of the list.

Ways to cash in on the iPhone app world

Posted by admin on January 15, 2012 in News |

The market for applications for the iPhone which are the so-called “apps” is growing rapidly. But what does it take to secure a slice of the pie?
Owning a business can seem tantalizingly simple, when you buy an iPhone and go into the App Store. In here you can, for a little money, buy all sorts of small programs called apps (short for “applications”) for its iPhone. $1 here, $5 there. It’s a lazy entrepreneur that is not just thinking “what if you sold a million of them …” and then “how hard can it be to make such a small program?”
Just two questions, we here focus on answering. The first question is it easy enough: What if you sold one million applications for $ 1, you then have 1 million dollars? No, because the App Store gives $ 1 x 1 million only $ 700,000. Apple should namely have 30 percent which is the amount of fee to put you in touch with all the nice people who (might) want to buy your good program.
“Aha, but I might as well do it for $ 3.6 million, which has to figure in exchange rates. And before the person even have time to count the money, they think to themselves that the program has to be made first. And what about marketing? Should it even be marketed? You put it into the App Store, where all sorts of iPhone users come anyway, and so is the 30 percent that Apple greedily takes for marketing? Well, it can be said that if you must sell a million, is more likely? Yes. There should probably be a lot more if you have already sold that many. Probably because it can, of course, be that you make the next killer application that everyone just has to own without having to spend a penny on marketing, but the probability suggests that the sleeves should be rolled up for success. There is in this market as in most other markets, differences in those big sellers and those who lie and rally at the bottom of the list and it’s probably no surprise that the big sellers are the ones who have figured it out. The fat cats know all of the game rules when it comes to selling apps. It takes the hands on experience and capital, and they dive deeper into the snow. The top 10-15% takes 85% of the market and we already know that this is not quite as easy as it seems. For if the breakdown holds true to its name then 15 percent of revenue goes back to the 85-90 percent of companies that are not in the fat cat club. And it gets worse, because this assumption is targeting gaming market in general and the average iPhone user has at least two games on their phone

Reasons why E Cigarettes are so popular

Posted by admin on January 13, 2012 in News |

Inventors created e cigarettes a few years back which supplies a certain amount of nicotine to the smoker while still running to stay away from the addiction issues. The small milky stick that usually looks just like what regular cigarettes do, offers a wonderful substitution for people who are looking to quit. They can do so by smoking e-cigarettes; in fact, it works by vaporizes untainted liquid nicotine and sends out a cloud of steam which is usually compared to the look of regular smoke. There is just one difference and that is the fact that people who smoke can inhale the vapors as they definitely used to and are still able to have the thrill but without taking in any dangerous chemicals. It provides a nicotine ‘hit’ but gets all around the smoking problems. Nicotine is its only element, not like tobacco choices which incorporate over 4,000 chemical compounds one of which is tar. The electrical cig is sequence spun, consists of a younger-looking red flame that is electrical and flavors of all types. Factories declare that it could be utilized inside restaurants and other establishments that have banned smoking despite the countrywide addiction as it has no relationship to a regular cigarette and it doesn’t produce smoke. Additionally, the tobacco cylinder cannot cause lung cancer while it only contains nicotine. There are plenty of options to choose from and they are growing by the month but they all use small tubes which you’ll find are filled with water or milk.
The power supply of the e cigarette is appealing to your iteration. You will find four different varieties of containers, ‘low’ which includes 6 mg of nicotine, ‘medium’ that steadily uses 11mg, and ‘high’ which contains 16mg. A very small atomizing area includes the fuse which heats up the milk or watery substance while the user takes a drag and it only takes a second or so for it to produce a vapor. The consequences kick-in almost in a flash and allows for a nicotine reach for the smoker without the cancerous carcinogens and dangerous tar effects. Dropping smoking altogether doesn’t seem possible for most people, causing it to be ideal for people that want to improve their lifestyle and health. The number of electronic cigarettes can be bought online fairly easily but you want to make sure it is one that you would like using. Read up on customer reviews and look each website over extensively because most starter packs can run you from $50 to $150. This is just obtainable to people aged 18 or above and is not ideal for women that are pregnant or nursing. Many people continue to turn to this form of smoking for various reasons but one thing is for sure and that is the fact everyone is gaining by people using this kind of alternative smoking.
